The newest member of Samsung’s Galaxy M-line is here with the Galaxy M42 5G. Looks alone will tell you that it’s a rebadged Galaxy A42 5G and a quick glance over the specs reveals that is certainly the case. Still, it marks an important note as the first 5G phone in the Galaxy M lineup.

The M42 5G brings a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with HD+ resolution and a wateredrop notch. The back houses a 48MP primary camera alongside an 8MP ultrawide snapper and two 5MP modules for macro shots and depth data.

The Galaxy M42 5G comes in the Prism Dot Black and Prism Dot Gray colour option. The device is available in 6GB/8GB RAM options with standard 128GB of internal storage. The base 6GB + 128GB model is priced at around Rs 21,999. The higher-end 8GB RAM variant retails for Rs 23,999. Both these models are available with the introductory price of Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999 respectively for a limited period. The Galaxy M42 5G will go on sale starting from May 1st through Amazon and Samsung’s online store website.
